Treatment:

Valentina, a beautiful Uruguayan born artist, has been treasuring a bottle of magical wine labeled "First Love" by her grandfather, Alexandre - one of seven bottles made for her to celebrate each milestone in her life. When after 20 years she is reunited with her childhood best friend, Alessandra, Valentina decides to open the "First Love" bottle, and their act of making love is interrupted by her mother, who then insists that she straighten out her life, or be forever cut off. Severely traumatized by this ultimatum, Valentina encounters Valentin, her male alter ego, in her own reflection. Valentin decides to comply to the mother's ultimatum, by altering her memory, even if that goes against Valentina's will. By chance, Valentina meets Steiny, she eventually falls in love and decides to move in with him in his hometown, Berlin. Steiny proposes marriage to Val, but, while opening one of the bottles from Val's grandfather's cellar, this one, labeled "First Marriage," Valentina catches Steiny having sex with another man.

This incident prompts a very violent reaction from Valentina, who suddenly regains her memory and prepares to end her relationship with Steiny. But she now must face the inevitable dichotomy that has become her self... the opposite gender struggling for ultimate dominance in her mind. The situation prompts Valentin, her male alter-ego, to step in and take over her life in order to keep the relationship together at all costs, opening then the "First Betrayal" bottle. Steiny, having faced extreme guilt over his father's suicide over the issue, immediately recoils in an effort to stay in a straight relationship. However, that effort is short lived when he is, once again, seduced by his former lover. Valentin orchestrates a plan he hopes will salvage their relationship - a baby - despite Valentina's objection. He manages to seduce a defiant Steiny with another bottle of magic wine, this one called "First Born" in hopes that it will produce the desired results...

Things spiral out of control when they learn that Steiny's lover has transmitted HIV to Steiny. Alcoholism fuels an increasingly growing depression, and Dissociate Identity Disorder takes them to the point of self-destruction. Ultimately, it is the power of the "First Miracle" bottle, Alessandra's true love, and the magic of "The Seventh Bottle" that set her free, and give her the strength to confront her ultimate obstacle: her mother.
